Upgrade and Development of Runway, Constant Current Regulator (CCR) Building, and Generator Building, at Cairo International Airport

Scope of work

Excavation and demolition works, and rigid pavement reconstruction to upgrade taxiways to runway no. 05C/23C and auxiliary aprons.
Cable laying, installation, upgrade of lighting units of runway 05C/23C.
Revamp and development of main CCR building, including HVAC; Fire Detection/ Fire Fighting Systems and operation of automatic-fire-suppression system; and, data cabling linked to air traffic control towers.
Civil and electro-mechanical works required to upgrade the complete development of stand-by building generators.

5. Upgrade of fences surrounding buildings, flooring, internal/ external curbs, entrances and gates.

Execution Period

2018 - 2019 (Preliminary Hand-over : 01/04/2019).
